Understanding Discrimination based on Gender Identity and Gender Expression Training for Team Officials
Submitted By Anna Lugowski on Wednesday, October 11, 2017
The Ontario Hockey Federation, Hockey Eastern Ontario, and Hockey Northwestern Ontario are implementing the “Understanding Discrimination based on Gender Identity and Gender Expression" and a Guide to the Dressing Room Policy and confidentiality statement modules that form the Gender Identity and Expression course for all team officials, which is a mandatory requirement to be approved to a roster for the 2017-2018 season, for all House League and Rep divisions.

ALL team officials will require an eHockey account in the Hockey Canada Registry (HCR) which means if you are already in our data base you are able to register and complete the two modules. Once completed, notification will be posted to your Hockey Canada profile.

The clinic will take about one and half hours as it has two-forty minute modules.  There is no charge for this course.  You can access the course at the link below:

All bench staff must complete this course before a team's roster can be approved by the OMHA.
