Blues Down Arthur 4-1
The Dundas PeeWee AE Blues, sponsored by S D Davis & Associates, fell behind early, but came back to defeat the Arthur Vipers 4-1, in Tri-County Russell round robin playoff action, on February 26th at the Market Street Arena.

Arthur came into Dundas with only 8 skaters, but were the better team early on, scoring the opening goal of the game three minutes in.  The Blues did not look sharp in the opening period, but managed to tie it late in the frame on a power play, as Willie Tanner scored, from Matt Czum and Colton Roberts.

The home side started to take control in the second period, outshooting the Vipers 17-2, but could not solve Arthur's excellent goaltender, Ryan Plat.  As has been the case all year, Plat showed why he is one of the best goalies in the league, keeping his team in the game, tied 1-1, with a period to play.

Finally, Dundas was able to take the lead early in the final period, as Tanner scored his second of the game, from Nathan Zontanos and Drew Kloschinsky.  Three minute later, Jesse Davis capitalized on some great work by Brett Parry and Bradley Wright, to give the Blues a 3-1 lead.  Will Shaw scored late, into the empty net, to ice it, from Tanner and Kloschinsky.

Dundas held a decisive 40-10 edge in shots.

The Blues continue playoff action on Wednesday, February 27th at the Market Street Arena, when they will face off against the Acton Tanners.  The puck drops at 7:00pm.
