Blues Close Season With Strong Finale at Pepsi Tournament
The Dundas PeeWee AE Blues, sponsored by S D Davis & Associates, wrapped up a very successful season with a strong performance in their final game in the Pepsi Tournament, defeating the Lincoln Blades 5-1.  While they did not advance, based on a tie-breaker, the Blues concluded the year on a very positive note.

Dundas opened the tournament with losses to Lambeth and Glanbrook.  The team showed obvious signs of rust, playing their first games in 5 weeks.  Matthew Persadie was outstanding in goal during the loss to Glanbrook.

The Blues then faced the Lincoln Blades, looking to win, and hoping for some help, so they could advance.  Dundas got on the board in the early going, as Riley Bennett scored, assisted by Matt Czum.  After the Blades tied it up, Tommy Stevens scored what turned out to be the eventual game winner, assisted by Willie Tanner and Parsa Norouzian.  Stevens was moved up to centre for the game, and responded with a strong effort.  Jesse Davis scored early in the second period, on a nice feed from Brett Parry.  Norouzian then tallied from Tanner, as Dundas led 4-1 with a period to play.  Parry scored the final goal of the season for the Blues, with a nice shot from the slot.

While Dundas didn't get the tie-breaker help they needed, they concluded a stellar season.  They Blues were 28-19-4 overall, and the team worked hard all year, thanks to their excellent coaching staff.

The 2012/2013 Dundas Blues are: Matthew Persadie, Will Shaw, Nathan Zontanos, Drew Kloschinsky, Brett Punchard, Colton Roberts, Tommy Stevens, Matt Czum, Parsa Norouzian, Riley Bennett, Brett Parry, Jonny Brown, Willie Tanner, Kevin Rorie, Jesse Davis, Bradley Wright, and Caleb Kierstead.  The staff includes Brian Parry (Head Coach), Mike Czum, Shawn Parry and Lee Wright (Assistant Coaches), Dave Bennett (Trainer), and Dale Stevens (Manager).
