That was the story of this Saturday's game as the Go Bee Flames put on a defensive show by all players in a 3 - 1 victory over the Kings. The 3 stars of the week for the Flames further support this game's defensive philosophy with the stellar goaltending of Josh Verschoor and the iron curtain created by Matthew Gilbreath and Cayden Murphy to hold the blue line on defense.
Also, you can't win a game without scoring, so notable mention goes to Cadence Tanner, Nicholas Schmalz and Liam Quinlan for scoring the teams three goals. The Flames unbeaten streak extends to 4 games. We are all looking forward to next week when the Flames take on the Canucks. GO (bee) FLAMES GO!!!!
