Tyke Blues bring in the New Year with a victory
The
Dundas Nine-O Tyke Blues brought in the New Year with a 1-0 victory over the
Erin-Hillsburgh Devils.
The Blues came out ready to play, with Kai Sulentic finding the net within the first minute of the game, compliments of a beautiful helper from Declan Forth. The Blues battled hard throughout the game, generating numerous scoring chances which were taken away by the Devil’s netminder. The Blues defense, led by Zachary Klapman and Matthew Taylor, was instrumental in keeping the Devil’s shots at bay, while Blues goalies Alex Gazzola and Adam Edwards secured the shut out.
A home & home battle with the Hespeler Shamrocks kicks off Wednesday night in Hespeler, followed by a return to Market St. Arena on Saturday January 11th at 5:00 pm. Come out to cheer on the Tyke Blues as they look to continue their strong play against their toughest competition.
