Blackhawks 3 Stars of the Week – Nov. 15 Game 5 was a tight fought battle with the Kings, ending in a 3-1 victory for the Blackhawks. Once again, the team played well together, helping keep the Kings to only one goal, and continuing the Blackhawks winning streak to 4 games.
The Three Stars of the Game go to....
Alex Dionissopoulos, Heather Brescacin and Daniel Guay
Defensive players Alex Dionissopoulos and Heather Brescacin were both on fire the whole weekend. Heather worked hard to hold the puck in the other team’s zone as much as possible giving the Blackhawks ample opportunities to shoot and score on the Kings. Alex was instrumental in keeping the puck out of the Blackhawks’ zone and his quick hustle back to his team’s blue line helped break-up the King’s offense, keeping their goals to only 1. Alex's and Heather's tireless effort and hard work earned the duo each a Star of the Week. The other star goes to Daniel Guay. His patience and positioning in front of the net paid off as he scored his second goal in as many games.
Brayden set Robbie up for the games winning goal. Reid also added a goal, Blake with 2 assists.
