This weekend, the
Allstate/Copetown Woods Dundas Novice Blues secured an undefeated season in the
Niagara District Hockey League finishing with a 28 and 0 record.
On Friday, the Blues traveled to St. Catherines where they posted a 10-0 defeat over the Garden City Warriors. On Sunday morning, the Blues stormed into Fort Erie, posting an 8-0 victory. Both wins secure the undefeated season for the Blues, putting them into first place as they head to Niagara Falls this weekend for their OMHA Playdowns qualifier tournament.
The depth of the Blues continues to shine as goal scorers this past weekend included Kai Sulentic, Sean Tutt, Declan Forth, Christopher Cheeseman, Kael Andrew, Megan Kosempel, Josh Verschoor and Martin VandenHeuvel. Helpers went to Martin and Logan VandenHeuvel, Coy Gordon, Zack Klapman, Cheeseman, Tutt, Sulentic, Forth, and Kosempel.
Adam Edwards and Alex Gazzola both ended the season with a shutout in net.
