The
Allstate/Copetown Woods Novice Blues are
attempting what has only been done four times in Dundas Minor Hockey history: win
an OMHA Championship.
The Blues made the trip to Windsor this weekend for games one and two of the OMHA Novice West Championship versus the Riverside Rangers. While game one was a very evenly matched affair, game two showed the strength of the Blues carrying the play for much of the game; however the Blues have found themselves down 2-0 in this best of five series.
The tables are turned and the Blues head home this weekend with their backs against the wall in a must win game. The Novice Blues are calling on all hockey fans, young and old, to come out this Saturday March 21st at 5:30 PM to Market St. Arena as the Riverside Rangers roll into town. This is sure to be a great game and with the support of Hockeyville behind them, the Blues look to avenge their losses this weekend and keep the series going.
