NOVICE BLUES LIVE TO SEE ANOTHER DAY
Seating was at a premium at Market St. Arena today as the Novice Blues welcomed the Riverside Rangers in a must win situation for the Blues.  After losing games one and two in Riverside last weekend the Blues backs were against the wall in this best 3 out of 5 series.

The Blues and Rangers both fought hard in the first period, ending in a 0-0 tie before Kael Andrew opened the scoring in the second period for the Blues.  After getting the monkey off his back, Andrew struck once again to put the Blues up 2-0.   The Blues defense stood tall on the blue line not letting much into their end, leading to Martin VandenHeuvel potting a goal to end the second period with the Blues up 3-0.  The third period continued to show how the Blues have gotten their stride back and VandenHeuvel netted the fourth Blues goal en route to a 4-0 shutout win.  Adam Edwards was larger than life in net giving confidence to his team in front of him in the shutout.

With the series lead now cut in half, the Blues look to tie things up as they hit the ice TOMORROW, Sunday March 22nd at 3:30PM at Market St. Arena.  The support of the 500+ fans helped boost the team to victory and we are again calling on all hockey fans in Dundas to come out and cheer on the Blues!
