The summer has been a hot one so far. We hope you are keeping cool and that the kids are enjoying their time off.  We’re quickly coming up on our halfway mark for the summer. Rep teams have been busy so far fundraising and preparing for the upcoming season.

We have a new ice scheduler this year. His name is David Coleman. He has been working hard with our HL VP’s and to that end they have come up with a schedule for the season.  We are pursuing interlock with coronation for the junior HL divisions. We will have details once the OMHA comes back from their summer break in August.

The registration fees have been increased the full extra $50 for the late registration penalty.  Thank you to those of you that have already registered.  Registration will be closing on August 31st for the 2018/2019 hockey season. Full payment is required prior to the start of the hockey season.

We will be capping our divisions this year as well. We cannot run teams at 9-11 players.  We are planning on teams with a minimum of 12-13 per team. On or around August 15th we will be looking at our registration numbers per division and notifying everyone of how many spots are available to fill the teams we have the numbers for. At that point after all the spots are filled we will start a waiting list and should enough registrants come in we will look into creating another team.  If you haven’t registered already please do so in order to secure your spots. We have copied the ice times/schedule below to help you.

We are still looking at have the HL season kick off in our home arena of market street :)

We wish you a safe and wonderful remainder of the season!!

Sincerely, Kristina Dodd - President, DMHA
