Hello DMHA Families, Welcome to the 2024-2025 DMHA hockey season! Lots of work has been happening behind the scenes, and we are so excited to hit the ice on our opening day, Saturday, September 28th. Please see below for some important information.

Hello DMHA Families, It was great to see so many familiar faces at the Cactus-Fest Parade last night! A huge thank-you to our volunteers who organized our DMHA float, and to all of our energetic participants who had the crowd dancing & singing along with our new mascot. A few quick reminders as the summer winds down:

Preparations are well under-way in anticipation of the 2024-2025 hockey season, see below for some important updates: Registration is open -Use Hockey Canada's Spordle website, and check out our DMHA Website for more details -We’d love to continue the growth from last year, so please encourage any friends or family to check us out -Registration closes on August 30th, and will open for late-registration only as space allows, so register today!

What's better than a blue dog who sings the blues? 🎷🐾 How about getting to name them?The DMHA board would like to welcome the arrival of a brand-new mascot to represent Dundas Minor Hockey Association – a saxophone-playing dog! This ice-cold, true-blue canine is ready to bring some serious swagger to our games and events. But we need YOUR help naming them! Follow @dundasminorhockey on Instagram to participate.

We're thrilled to announce that DMHA will host the NHL/NHLPA First Shift program for 2024-2025! Registration opens Monday, June 3 at 12 p.m. The program is open to children aged 6-10 who have never enrolled in minor hockey or the First Shift program. The cost is $299 per participant, including a 6-week program, insurance and full Bauer equipment. Sessions will be Mondays, 6-7 p.m. at JL Grightmire Arena on Jan 27, Feb 3, Feb 10, Feb 24, Mar 3, and Mar 17. Early registration is encouraged due to limited spots.
