Flamborough-Dundas REP Hockey The FHA and DMHA boards are pleased to announce a continuation of the Shared-Boundary Pilot Initiative for the 2019-2020 season.  With this there are many changes that will improve on the logistics pertaining to registration, tryouts, team rostering, AP process and season play.

For the 2019-2020 season the REP programs of the Flamborough Sabres and Dundas Blues will be combined.  There will no longer be 2 separate REP organizations as in the past.  Flamborough and Dundas will combine their programs to form a new combined REP centre that will offer AA, A, AE and MD programs where applicable.

All Tryouts will be administered through the Flamborough Hockey Association process in association with DMHA.  Tryouts will run in order AA, A, AE and MD where applicable.  The tryouts will be forced.  All players trying out will begin their Tryout process at the AA level and proceed to A, AE and so on.  What this means is if you played REP in either Flamborough or Dundas last this season you must begin your tryout process at the AA level.  There are no options of what team you are trying out for.  This is to ensure a fair process and ensure our teams are made up of players who are playing at the most correct development level.  Any player that declines an Offer of Commitment will not be eligible to play another level team and or SELECT and will proceed straight to House League. SELECT programs will be run separately in both associations as per normal, as OMHA residential boundaries rules for SELECT will still apply. See your home centres website for details on SELECT Tryouts and programming.

Tryout Registration will open shortly, Tryouts for AA will begin following AAA tryouts.

  • AA Tryouts Commence April 22, 2019-April 28, 2019
  • A Tryouts Commence April 28, 2019-May 5, 2019
  • AE/MD Tryouts Commence May 6, 2019-May 12, 2019
  • All REP/MD Tryouts will take place at Harry Howell Arena
  • FHA SELECT Tryouts (Atom/Peewee/Bantam May 12, 2019 (See FHA Website for details)
  • DMHA SELECT tryouts will take place in September (See DMHA Website for details)

Key Administrative Points to Remember:

  • ALL Flamborough/Dundas Registrants will register for Tryouts through the new Flamborough-Dundas REP Hockey website: www.fdrephockey.com
  • A Registration Link will be on each FHA and DMHA website. It will then link to the new Website www.fdrephockey.com to complete registration.  It will then direct to the Hockey Canada registration PORTAL-it will say FLAMBOROUGH on top as everyone is registering through the Flamborough Hockey Association PORTAL for registration.
  • Tryout Process will follow the Flamborough-Dundas REP Tryout policy
  • Tryout Fees are non-refundable

Thank you,

The FHA and DMHA Board of Directors
