
City of Hamilton moving to Red Zone - UPDATED

Hello DMHA Families
The Province of Ontario updated the City of Hamilton Public Health Unit’s zone to Red effective Monday, November 16th.
The OMHA and the City of Hamilton has now revised their guidelines as of today (Nov 18th)

There has been a major change to the Red Zone guidelines from OMHA as of this afternoon, Nov 18th. OMHA has mandated a max of 9 players and 1 coach on the ice.
The City of Hamilton has also announced new facility guidelines tonight (Nov 18th) which now limit us to...
- A maximum of 10 patrons may be in a facility, regardless of size, at one time – this includes coaches and players
- There are no special capacity limits for on-rink activity – a maximum of 10 patrons can be in the entire facility at one time
- No spectators permitted
- Hockey teams may train with drills only (no games or scrimmage of any size)
- No access to arena changeroom facilities
