Session 2 Registration Update
Submitted By Darren Brown on Sunday, January 24, 2021
Dear Members,

The DMHA Board has been working throughout the lockdown, so that if regulations allow, we will be ready to hit the ice as soon as possible! As always, we are waiting for the go-ahead from various governing bodies, but we’re able to provide the following updates:

Session #2: February 11 - March 31

  • Second session is available for Novice, Atom, Peewee & Bantam Tier 1 (rep) and Tier 2 (House League)
  • The IP & U18 (Midget) HL divisions are still on hold until Hamilton is put back to orange level or lower.
  • The second session is offered to all players who participated in the first session. New registrants will need to contact [email protected] for details.
  • The best-case scenario for a return to hockey is February 11

  • Registration deadline is now February 7, 2021

  • Members who have yet to pay for session 2 please send $100 by e-transfer to [email protected]

    • Include your child's name in the 'notes'

    • If you require an alternative payment method, contact [email protected]

  • If the lockdown continues past February 11, we will adjust and extend deadlines as necessary

  • If the season is partially or completely cancelled, we will refund on a prorated basis, or in full

Extended Season Option: April 1 to May 31

  • The Ontario Hockey Federation has decided on a season extension to the end of May, depending on ice availability, for age groups U10 and above

  • We will communicate this option as soon as updates are available

Rep Tryouts postponed until September

  • We are preparing for a return to rep hockey in Dundas!

  • The OHF has postponed tryouts for all age groups until September

  • If you are interested in coaching or have any questions, contact our VP of Rep Hockey, Shawn Meadows ([email protected])

A huge thank-you to our volunteers, coaches, trainers and parents. This year has thrown us many obstacles, but you have all stepped up in the effort to keep our kids on the ice!
