It is with great sadness that we have to inform you of the passing of Joe Heslop.   Many of you will know Joe as one of our longest serving referees in Dundas.   Joe was a referee with the Dundas Minor Hockey Association for over 30 years and he served as the Head Referee for the past 20 years.   Joe brought his love and enthusiasm for hockey into every game he refereed, and we are grateful for having known him. Our thoughts and condolences are with his wife, Cheryl, daughters Michelle and Jessica and his entire family, his friends, and his fellow referees.  He will be greatly missed. The Dundas Minor Hockey Association is planning a tribute to Joe during championship weekend (April 2 and 3). More details will be posted here shortly.

Visitation will take place on Friday, March 25, 2022, from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. with Service to follow at Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Tire Jumpstart Program in Joe’s name would be appreciated by the family so all kids can participate in what Joe loved most.
