DMHA Programming Update
Submitted By DMHA on Sat 03 11, 23
Thank you to all of the families who attended Thursday's meeting at town hall. The board appreciated the time, discussion and feedback regarding the many challenges DMHA is facing.

With continued transparency and communication in mind, we have received an additional direction from OMHA, stating the the NRP (Non-residential player) system will be phased out over the coming years - there will be no opportunity for future Dundas players to play in any Rep program outside of Dundas unless they make AAA in Hamilton.

This information was received Friday night, and as such was not part of the discussion on Thursday night. This obviously has implications for our players and association-at-large, and this will be considered shortly by the board.

For anyone interested in reading the brief OMHA Info Bulletin, the link can be found here:

As discussed at the meeting, it is the intention of the board to meet within the next 2 weeks (after March Break) to consider all options/resolutions, feedback from the meeting, and any further direction from OMHA regarding the 2023-24 season. At that time, we will make decisions regarding our plans moving forward, and make information available with plenty of time for all parties to be prepared for Spring Rep Tryouts.

Again, thank you to all who participated in our process. We continue to work hard to manage the changes and challenges facing the Association.
