Beginning this Friday, the Dundas Blues Major Atom team will be playing in the OHF Championship (Ontario Hockey Federation). This tournament brings together the Champions from all Ontario minor hockey associations for the biggest championship a minor hockey team can win.
The tournament will be held in Woodstock ... a quick 45 minute drive from Dundas. It would be great to have some Blues support in the crowd ... as this would be the biggest championship ever won by a team from Dundas in its 67 year history of minor hockey!
The teams playing are:
Kapuskasing Icehawks (Northern Ontario Hockey League)
North Toronto (Greater Toronto Hockey League)
Waterloo Wolves (Alliance Association of Ontario)
Dundas Blues (Ontario Minor Hockey Association)
Woodstock Jr. Navy Vets (Host team)
The Blues will play all four teams in a round robin, followed by the top 4 of 5 playing in the semis. Semi Finals are at either 8am or 10am Sunday morning and the Championship is at 3:00pm.
All games will be played at:
Southwood Arena
381 Finkle St
Woodstock, ON N4V 1A3
