The Dundas Atom Select took on the Ancaster Avalanche on Wednesday evening. The Dundas team cam out hard and fast creating many scoring opportunities, only to be denied by strong goaltending. After a scoreless first period, Dundas kept up the pressure, but the Ancaster goalie was up to the task. Going into the third the game was still scoreless. The Select Blues kept up the pressure, but on a quick counter Ancaster took a 1-0 lead. Dundas continued to pressure, then Zac Ernst banged home the rebound off of a Lucas Caravaggio shot to tie the game up. With seconds to go Lucas Caravaggio broke in on a breakaway, but the Ancaster goalie made a great glove save to preserve the tie. All in all a very strong performance by the whole team .

The Dundas Atom Select Blues opened their season in Burlington vs the Burlington Bulldogs. The team has been working hard at practice and it showed. Christian Johnson opened the scoring with an assist from Cam Outtrim . Burlington fought back to take a 2-1 lead after the first. Dundas started the second strong, with Trenton Baker scoring early with assists going to Robbie McHarg and Josh Czum. But Burlington fought back to take the 4-2 victory.
