Schedule & Results, Atom Select, 2013-2014 (Dundas Minor Hockey)

the Dundas Atom Select took on the Ancaster Avalanche on Wednesday evening. The Dundas team cam out hard and fast creating many scoring opportunities, only to be denied by strong goaltending. After a scoreless first period, Dundas kept up the pressure, but the Ancaster goalie was up to the task. Going into the third the game was still scoreless. The Select Blues kept up the pressure, but on a quick counter Ancaster took a 1-0 lead. Dundas continued to pressure, then Zac Ernst banged home the rebound off of a Lucas Caravaggio shot to tie the game up. With seconds to go Lucas Caravaggio broke in on a breakaway, but the  Ancaster goalie made a great glove save to preserve the tie. All in all a very strong performance by the whole team .
