The Dundas Kings fought hard over 2 games but came up short in their bid to continue on in the City of Hamilton Playdowns.  The team showed great character and effort in going up against a couple of Hamilton teams with some bigger, stronger players, as well as some rougher hockey than accustomed to.

The Kings finish off their year this Friday and Saturday by participating in the Waterloo Fun Festival Tournament.     Kings tournament schedule:  click here

Congratulations to all the players on the Kings for their big semi-final win and advancement into the PeeWee Championship game!

Sat March 2nd - 1:15pm, Market St. Arena,
against the Senators.

The Kings put the offensive pressure on early and often and the team was awarded with goals from 6 different players on this occassion including special mention to Ethan E. with his first goal of the season.

Great puck moving and setting up scoring opportunities came from Ian K. as well as William S. who was rewarded with a pretty goal in the game. Eric H. with his best game of the season was all over the puck, keeping it in the opposition's end. And they are our Kings 3 Stars of the Game:

#15 - Ian K.         #10 - William S.          #8 - Eric H.

Great team defence and passing later in the game ensured the team protected the lead en route to a well deserved birth in the championship game.  Congratulations on behalf of the parents and bench staff.

Be sure to be at the game early, ready to go, and don't forget to bring the noise...

Go Kings!

The Kings finished off their 4 game playdowns on a high note with a strong offensive effort. The entire team has contributed throughout the season at both ends of the ice. In Saturday's game though it was Ethan E. all over the puck creating multiple opportunities while James M. was buzzing around the opposing goalie and was rewarded with a goal. On defence Seth S. played rock solid on defence all game shutting down the opposition's offense.

They are your Kings 3 Stars of the Game.  Bring on the semi-finals!

#3 - Ethan E.         #12 - James M.          #11 - Seth S.
