In their 3rd game of the playoff round-robin, the Dundas Canucks did not produce the same type of effort as the previous week and came up short, losing to the Stars by a score of 5-3 on Saturday Feb.9th. Although a few individual efforts were really solid, somehow the team effort just was not there and the kids looked tired....HOWEVER, the kids have all promised that if they are going to stay up late and party before a big game that they will this time....INVITE THE COACHES TOO!!! Hehe.
All joking aside, the team needs to get their game back and have promised a superior effort next week against the powerhouse, Stanley-Cup-champion Kings!!! It's GO time!!!!

In the 2nd game of their 4-game round- robin playoff series on Saturday Feb.2nd, the Dundas Canucks faced the top team in their division, the Senators. Through an incredible TEAM effort, the Canucks earned a well-deserved 0-0- tie and earned themselves a spot in the semi-finals on Feb.23rd. Great all-around determination and a great passing as well as checking game, kept the Canucks dominant through a large part of the game. Great goaltending on both teams but the Canucks outchanced the Sens almost 2 to 1. Congrats guys! WELL DONE!!

In the 2nd game of the Hockey Loft's tournament in Cambridge, the Dundas Canucks faced a tough and talented Guelph team. Dundas played hard keeping to within two goals of Guelph with goals coming from Callum McGuire, Zak Stulla and Daniel Clasen(2) but it was not enough and the Guelph team dominated the last part of the game. A strong effort from the whole team and much fun was had afterward in the Hockey Loft's training facility. Next game is Saturday night at 9:30 against the Hockey Loft's home team.

The Dundas Canucks went down 3-2 in a tough-fought game that started the first annual Hockey Loft tournament in Cambridge. Dundas led 1-0 when New Hamburg stormed back with 2 quick goals. The Canucks tied it up when Christian Kovacevic netted his 2nd of the game, making the score 2-2. An unfortunate bounce gave New Hamburg the lead late in the game and although the Canucks almost tied it with the goalie pulled, time ran out. A great team effort by the whole squad who look forward to the next game Saturday morning vs. Guelph.
