A Winning Weekend for the Blues
It was another winning weekend for the Allstate/Copetown Woods Dundas Novice Blues as they posted two more wins. 

On Friday the Blues travelled to St. Catherines where they defeated the Garden City Warriors  9-2. Goal scorers for the Blues included  Kael Andrew, Luke Gardner, Martin VandenHeuvel, Sean Tutt and Kai Sulentic, with assists going to Declan Forth, Megan Kosempel, Josh Verschoor, Andrew, Tutt, Coy Gordon, Ben Rego, Sulentic, and Christopher Cheeseman.

On Sunday, the Blues hosted the Niagara on the Lake Wolves. Once again the Blues showed their dominance in the Niagara loop posting a 7-1 victory over the Wolves. Finding the net for the Blues were VandenHeuvel, Andrew, and Kosempel with helpers going to Kosempel, Forth, Cheeseman, and Tutt.   Defensive standouts for the weekend included Zack Klapman and Coy Gordon, while Alex Gazzola and Adam Edwards continue to stay strong between the pipes.

The Blues close out the 2014 calendar next weekend with a strong test against the Grimsby Kings on Sunday December 21st at 12:00pm at JL Grightmire Market St. Arena, followed by a trip to Thorold the following night.  The Novice Blues will take some time away from the ice to spend time with family & friends over the holidays ... and then it will be back to business as the push toward the OMHA Playdowns and Niagara District League Championship loom in the new year!
