Novice Blues Start 2015 in Winning Fashion
The Allstate/Copetown Woods Dundas Novice Blues enjoyed a break from the action over the holidays to reenergize and recharge their batteries, but before the break they ensured their winning streak of 16 regular season games stayed intact.

The Grimsby Kings put up a strong fight that ended in a victory for the Blues 3-2, followed by a 5-2 win over Thorold allowed the Blues to end 2014 with an 18-0-0 record in League play.

An exhibition game over the holidays versus the Flamborough Sabres “AA” team allowed the Blues to skate off the extra turkey with a 6-3 victory prior to getting back into league play. On Saturday the Blues headed to Welland, home to the Tigers who have put up a strong fight against the Blues in the previous two games they’ve played this season.  The Blues dominated the play from the opening puck drop and headed home with a 4-1 victory that was highlight by continued strong play by the defensive core of Sean Tutt, Coy Gordon, Gus Taylor and Josh Verschoor.  On Sunday the Blues played host to Garden City for a one-sided affair.  After all was said and done Kael Andrew, Martin VandenHeuvel and Declan Forth each tallied a pair of goals with singles from Logan VandenHeuvel and Kai Sulentic for an 8-0 win.  Both Adam Edwards and Alex Gazzola were solid between the pipes throughout.

With seven regular season games left, the Blues are looking ahead to a strong finish to the season and an even stronger Playoff run.  They are back in action this Saturday at Market St. Arena, as the highly touted Lincoln Blades come to town led by Coach Ryan Christie.  Christie knows Market St. Arena all to well as the Captain of the 2014 Allan Cup Champs, the Dundas Real McCoys.

Puck Drop vs Lincoln:  Saturday January 10th - 5:00pm
