Bulldogs Down Blues
The Dundas Blues Bantam AE made the trip to St. Catharines on September 30th, but came home empty handed, losing a 5-2 final to the Garden City Merritton Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs dominated the play for most of the game. They scored the only goal of the first period, with the man advantage, despite outshooting the visitors 9-3 in the frame.
Dundas tied it early in the second, as Mason Baker picked up his 3rd goal of the season, assisted by Luke Hamilton and Kieran Thornewell. However, it was all Garden City Merritton the rest of the period, as they scored 4 goals, including their second power play marker of the game.
The Blues scored the only goal of the final frame, as Jaden Vallentin fired home a rebound off a Mason Baker shot. For the game, the Bulldogs held a decisive 34-15 edge in shots on goal.
Dundas returns home on Saturday, October 3rd, for an 8:30pm face off at the Market Street Arena, where they will meet the Niagara-On-The-Lake Wolves.
