Go Bee Flames Win First Playoff Game!
The regular season play saw all the teams improve significantly throughout the year and all were looking forward to a tight playoff race.  Well, it appears to be the case as the Go Bee Flames held on strong in their first playoff game with a hard fought 3-2 victory over the Kings.  The other playoff game couldn't be any closer with a 2-2 tie between the Stars and Canucks.

The Go Bee Flames 3 Stars of the Game go to Matthew Gilbreath who lead the Flames to their first playoff victory over the Kings scoring 2 goals, one of which was the game winner; Nick Schmalz for his great goal tending, keeping his team in the game by only allowing 2 goals and Tyler Carson who helped keep the puck deep in the King's zone and also setup one of Matthew's goals.

The other goal scorer was Robbie McHarg who roofed the tying goal.  Liam Quinlan's hard offensive play was also awarded with 2 assists.

The Flames face the Canucks this Saturday at 10am at the Market Street Arena for their 2nd game in round robin playoffs.  Come out and see the true spirit of hockey in Dundas and cheer on these future stars.
