The Sem-Final game between the Go Bee Flames and the Stars was a thrill for all fans.  I imagine both coaches are still trying to calm down after this intense game.  The Flames scoring started off with a pass from Madison Fines to Foster Deighton who charged down the ice scoring the first goal of the game.  The Stars came back strong with a goal of their own to tie it up. Our Flames were stoked in their final round robin play off game against the Stars.  The first period was tight with with both goal tenders,Nick Schmalz (Flames) and Cal Tanner (Stars), making miraculous saves.  A couple of Stars penalties seemed to ignite the Flames offence pressure which resulted in a 8-2 victory for the Flames.   Read More

The Go Bee Flames won their 2nd straight playoff game against the Canucks this past Saturday with a score of 4-1.  The Canucks didn't waist anytime drawing first blood with a goal in the 1st period.  However, that seemed to ignite the Flames who reacted quickly with one of Foster Deighton's 2 goals.  The Canucks goal tender, Keagan McKelvey, was outstanding as the Flames had wave after wave of offensive pressure with a flurry of shots taken. Liam Quinlan had 2 assists with one of them assisting Robbie McHarg's game winning goal. Robbie also assisted Nick Schmalz's insurance goal.  Read More

The regular season play saw all the teams improve significantly throughout the year and all were looking forward to a tight playoff race.  Well, it appears to be the case as the Go Bee Flames held on strong in their first playoff game with a hard fought 3-2 victory over the Kings.  The other playoff game couldn't be any closer with a 2-2 tie between the Stars and Canucks.  Read More

CONGRATULATIONS to the Go Bee Flames for finishing 1st in Novice House League Regular Season play with a 10-2-2 record.  Head Coach, David McHarg, his coaching staff and parents couldn't be more proud of the great effort, sportsmanship and team camaraderie displayed this season by all the Flames players.
