Flames 3 Stars of the Week
The Go Bee Flames started out the new year with a 5 - 3 win over the Stars on Jan 5th. Liam Quinlan and Foster Deighton both had 2 goals and Sage Sulentic scored a single. Assists were made by Cadence Tanner and Adam Wright. The Flames moved onto defeat the Kings 3-1 this past Saturday.
The defensive team of Luca Golaraz and Josh Verschoor worked well together earning 2 of the three stars of the week each earning an assist. While one kept the puck deep in the other teams zone the other stayed back and covered their partner. The third star went to Sage Sulentic for his beautiful goal off the faceoff, assisted by Foster. Congratulations to the whole team for their great defensive play allowing very few shots on Robbie McHarg, however when called upon Robbie made some key saves.
