Blues Bounce Back in Tight Loss to Sabres
After playing one of their most disappointing games of the season, the Dundas Bantam AE Blues rebounded with a much better effort, playing the unbeaten Flamborough Sabres tight for the second straight time, losing 3-0, in Tri-County action on October 16th in Carlisle.

The Blues showed some good jump off the opening faceoff, and played the home side even for the first period, which ended scoreless.  Flamborough held a narrow 6-5 edge in shots on goal.

The Sabres started to control the tempo in the second period, but Dundas goalie Silas Wauben-Scott was equal to the task, no doubt frustrating the opposition.  It wasn't until the final minute of the period that the tie was broken.

Flamborough scored twice more in the final period, including once on the power play.

The Blues head to Caledonia this weekend, for the annual Challenge Cup.  They will face Lincoln, the Hamilton Spitfires, and Merritton in preliminary round action, beginning Friday, October 18th.
