Solid Effort for Blues in Loss to Ancaster
Almost two weeks since their last Tri-County league game, the Dundas Bantam AE Blues, sponsored by Nordic Gold Salmon Products, got back on the ice on October 28th, as they traveled to Ancaster, to face off against the Avalanche.  The Blues didn't come away with the win, but did play a solid game, dropping a 4-1 final.

In their previous meeting, the only between the teams to date, Ancaster pounded Dundas.  On this day, the Avalanche again got off to a solid start, scoring three goals in the first period, to lead 3-0 after one.

But the Blues found their stride, and played the home side even the rest of the way.

After a scoreless second period, Ancaster made it 4-0 early in the third, before Tristan Burr fired home a snap shot from a bad angle, to get Dundas on the board.  Ethan Truman and Jonny Brown drew the assists.

Silas Wauben-Scott was very good in net, facing 39 shots on the night.

The Blues return to the friendly confines of the Market Street Arena on Saturday, November 2nd, for their next action.  The first place Brampton 45s provide the opposition, in an 8:30pm puck drop.
