Dundas Comes Up Empty in Flamborough
A night after a solid effort in Hespeler, the Dundas Bantam AE Blues, sponsored by Nordic Gold Salmon Products, make the short drive to Flamborough, to tangle with the Sabres. Dundas showed little of the spark they displayed a night earlier, dropping a 7-1 final.
A slow start plagued the Blues off the opening faceoff, as they fell behind 2-0 in the opening minute. After one, Dundas trailed 3-0.
It was more of the same in the second frame, as the home side kept the pressure on, extending their lead to 5-1, before Ethan O'Leary tallied on the power play, from Ethan Truman and Tristan Burr. The Sabres closed the scoring with two goals.
The Blues have over a week off, to practice and prepare for their busiest stretch of the year, beginning November 16th.
