Blues Down Owen Sound to Complete Strathroy Tournament
The Dundas Bantam AE Blues, sponsored by Nordic Gold Salmon Products, scored four goals in 57 seconds early in the third period, downing the Owen Sound Jr. Attack 5-3, to close out the Strathroy Tournament.

The Blues began the tournament on November 22nd, with a tough 8-0 loss to the host Strathroy Rockets.  Despite allowing 8 goals, Noah Doan was outstanding in net, facing 55 shots.

Dundas returned to action later that day, dropping a 7-3 decision to the Ilderton Jets.  The game went back and forth, with the Jets holding a slim 4-3 lead midway through the third period, before scoring three straight to take the victory.  Tristan Burr paced the Blues, scoring all three Dundas goals.

On November 23rd, the Blues faced their old nemesis from New Hamburg.  Dundas outplayed the Huskies, holding the edge in shots on goal, but lost a 6-1 final.

That set up the finale against Owen Sound.  After a scoreless first period, the Blues scored the only marker of the second, off the stick of Ethan Truman, to lead 1-0 with a period left.  But the Attack did just that early in the third, scoring two quick goals, to take a 2-1 advantage.  Cue the onslaught, as Burr, Matt Czum, Burr, and Drew Kloschinsky all tallied in less than a minute, to give Dundas a 5-2 lead, and send them on their way to the win.
