Blues Fire 52 Shots in Win Over Erin
Parsa Norouzian and Jesse Davis scored twice apiece, and the team fired 52 shots on goal, as the Dundas PeeWee AE Blues, sponsored by S D Davis & Associates, defeated the Erin-Hillsburgh Devils 4-2, in Tri-County playoff action on Saturday, February 16th at the Olympic Arena.

Off the opening face-off, the home side did a great job of keeping possession of the puck, and the result was no shots on goal for Erin in the first period.  Dundas fired 8 at the Devils goal, but were unable to score.

Early in the second period, Parsa Norouzian opening the scoring, converting a nice three way passing play from Kevin Rorie and Jonny Brown.   On his next shift, Norouzian registered a nifty individual effort to increase the lead to 2-0.  Late in the period, the visitors finally got on the scoresheet, but Jesse Davis answered back shortly thereafter, on a feed from Drew Kloschinsky.  The period ended with Dundas up 3-1.

Midway through the final frame, the Devils again cut the margin to a single goal, before Davis notched his second of the game, from Bradley Wright and Brett Parry, to make it a 4-2 final.

Dundas held a decisive 52-6 edge in shots on goal, and the defense did a great job of keeping their opponent away from their net.

The Blues will have a bit of time off, but will keep practicing to stay sharp, as they await their next league playoff game.
