Tyke Blues Face First Loss of the Playoffs
Submitted By Barry Forth on Monday, February 17, 2014
On Sunday, the Dundas Nine-O Tyke Blues headed to Hespeler to face their arch rivals, the Shamrocks.

The Blues came out strong in the first period, dominating the game. Kael Andrew rifled a shot passed the Shamrock net minder to give the Blues the lead going into the second.  Unfortunately the Shamrocks gained momentum in the final 2 minutes of that period scoring 3 unanswered goals.

The Blues regrouped and scored a second time when Kai Sulentic jammed the net in the third. Although the Blues battled hard in the final minutes of play, the luck of the Irish rang true, leaving the Shamrocks with the 4-2 victory over the Blues.   Helpers for the day went to Coy Gordon, Jason MacNeil, Martin VandenHeuvel, and Andrew.
